These aeroplane (airplane in American English) play tokens are designed to enhance early learning through tactile and visual exploration. These play tokens are larger than our counting tokens and are suitable for supporting hands-on engagement, helping children build key skills in a creative way.

These tokens come in either a set of 5 or can be purchased individually.

• If required, wipe the item with a cool damp cloth and ensure it is thoroughly dried.
• Store the item in a cool place. High temperatures can cause the item to become deformed due to the physical properties of PLA.
• If your item shows signs of damage please discard the item.

PLA? What is it?

PLA stands for Polylactic Acid. It is a polymer that is derived from plants and while it is marketed as ‘eco-friendly’ it is still a plastic but it is a better option than oil derived plastics. Additionally, PLA is biodegradable but only under certain conditions. It will not degrade in typical compost heaps and as such it is advised to not discard your used PLA items this way. Please contact your local authority to discuss if they have PLA recycling or compost options available.
