Before your child can independently write their name they need to be able to recognise it and be secure with the letter order. This set is perfect to help with these skills.
Your child may copy their name plaque to order the letter tokens within the tray, or when they’re confident they may be able to order the letters in the tray from memory without their name plaque.
When your child is confident with what their name ‘looks like’, they can begin practising forming the individual letters correctly.
You may choose to follow a scheme such as Read Write Inc or Teacher Play, choose to focus on letter families. If you have any questions regarding this next step in the name writing process, reach out to us either via Instagram (Play.3DPrints) or email us at info@play3d.com

PLA? What is it?
PLA stands for Polylactic Acid. It is a polymer that is derived from plants and while it is marketed as ‘eco-friendly’ it is still a plastic but it is a better option than oil derived plastics. Additionally, PLA is biodegradable but only under certain conditions. It will not degrade in typical compost heaps and as such it is advised to not discard your used PLA items this way. Please contact your local authority to discuss if they have PLA recycling or compost options available.
